Museum Collection Continues to Grow

Dec 2, 2020

In recent months GAHS has acquired a number of artifacts with historic significance to Garner. We are particularly grateful for several beautiful, vintage 1920’s and 1930’s clothing items donated by Board member and area native Anne Phillips Holland. They are being cleaned, restored, and made ready for display.

Thanks to Jon Shearin, Paul Cox and Wayne Brooks for their help in obtaining several sections of original auditorium seats and transporting them from the Historic Garner High School. They are stored in our Pearl Street office area for future use.
