- The Little Red Caboose
One of our biggest campaigns yet – and with your help, we know we can do it! Garner’s red caboose has become quite a landmark in the historic area of downtown Garner, drawing much attention and attracting visitors to the Museum. We get questions on a regular basis about when it might be open for visitors. We are actively fundraising for the $65,000 needed to restore the caboose to its authentic state as it appeared when it was a working railcar. Currently, through a combination of donations and grants, we are at the $33k mark! Join us in giving the little red caboose another life as a working historical artifact for generations to come!
